“Educational stop” – a defensive technique in a contact battle that you learn already in the first lesson.
The purpose of the technique is to deter the attacker and maintain a defensive distance and reaction of the defender. as well as to reduce the target of weak points.
Why is it called an “educational stop”? Since the technique is not intended to harm the attacker, these convey a message “I don’t want violence and now you don’t either”.
In maga combat, the technique is also used as a defense against the threat of strangulation, so it can be called “defense against the threat of strangulation” in some of the krav maga syllabi.
